Getting Kids started early

Empowering local giving

While many community service programs don't begin until the teenage years, we believe you’re never too young to make a difference. Research shows that the earlier a child begins to give back, the more likely they are to carry those values of empathy and civic duty throughout their lifetime.

We want to teach the next generation that "being a helper" isn't one-size-fits-all. Our events offer a variety of ways to get involved:

  • Hands-On Action: Active, high-energy projects where we work side-by-side.
  • Independent Contribution: Tasks completed individually (like this current project) that come together for a collective goal.
  • Quiet Kindness: Showing that thoughtful planning and small gestures can have a massive ripple effect.

Join Our Community

By participating in different types of outreach, our children learn that every act of service matters. Whether it involves physical labor or a quiet act of kindness, giving back is vital in every capacity.

We aren't just completing projects; we are raising a generation that understands that even the smallest act of kindness can go a long way.

HOW IT WORKS

Join Our Community (GroupMe)

The best way to stay in the loop is through our Community GroupMe. This is where we coordinate our monthly activities and share upcoming opportunities for families to come together.

  • Stay Updated: Receive real-time announcements about our monthly events
  • Connect: Meet other families who are passionate about raising the next generation of helpers
  • Collaborate: Be the first to hear about our "independent but together" projects

Make an Impact on Your Own

Can’t make it to an event? You can still cultivate a spirit of service at home. Here are a few simple ways your family can give back independently this month:

  • Earth Day  Cleanup: Plant a tree or pick up trash  outside

  • Support Local Heroes: Write thank-you notes or draw pictures for firefighters, healthcare workers, or teachers.

  • Little Free Library Audit: Go through your bookshelves and donate gently used books to a local "Little Library."

  • Kindness Stones: Paint uplifting messages on small stones and leave them along walking paths for neighbors to find.
